TGIM is proud to provide a mentoring program that is aligned to the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring. In alignment with those standards, Writing for the Soul Workshop™  provides an effective systemic approach to ensure the safety, well being and growth of both our Mentors and Mentees, and provides a wealth of ongoing resources to ensure our program participants receive all the support they need.

Writing for the Soul Workshop™ is a vibrant program that invokes a passion for writing, resources for healing, and skills for a lifetime while tackling global problems like mental, financial and educational inequality.

Our core program philosophy is based on the fact that powerful emotions have a powerful voice; and that when we get what’s on the inside out, we make amazing breakthroughs in gaining control of those feelings.

Making an impact that lasts!

What is Writing for the Soul Workshop™?

Writing for the Soul Workshop™ is a mentoring program. It is aligned to the Six Elements of Effective Mentoring, and Mentoring Best Practices. During development, we didn’t focus on following such style guides as The Chicago Manual of Styles, MLA Style Manual, the Guide to Scholarly Publishing, or any others like most organizations and professional associations often do.

Instead, we focused on what worked for our participants accessing the program around the world: A Trauma Informed Approach.
